We are on a mission to bring old world Indian authentic to US shores.
Born and raised in Nagpur, the geographical center of India, we grew up relishing Varhadi cuisine, in and around Central India. We have always longed for that authentic Indian cuisine here in the States, and this desire led us to start preparing some of our favorite recipes. Saoji cuisine is native to the weaver community of central India. It is known for its hot and spicy non-vegetarian delicacies. It took us a couple of years to recreate the taste, and our friends helped us fine tune it. We aim to bring back the old-world cooking styles, and serve up fresh cooked food to your doorsteps, without compromising on quality at our Indian restaurant and bar in Iselin.
We have been listening to our customers and have expanded our menu to include the best dishes from Maharashtra, Goa and North India. If you happen to be in one of our 2 locations (Iselin and Voorhees) for dine-in, we would love to catch up with you, serving the perfect flavors of Maharashtrian cuisne, Goan cuisine, Indian seafood, and the Saoji cuisine in the heart of USA!

The place has preserved the taste of Kothimbir Wadi, Tarri dishes and Puran Poli. Will comeback again ,… more frequently. We started with vada pav and misal pav which were too good. They served the vada pav in Mumbai style, topped with fried green chilly. Misal had a nice zing and was delicious. The Nagpur tej Saoji chicken curry was the best of all, spicy and flavourful. Tried fried pomfret too and it didn't disappoint. Loved the bombil fry. Will definitely revisit this place. Spices were amazing and good change from typical Punjabi currys. We ordered vegetarian food however Saoji is typically popular for non-veg food.
